Latest Developments with TriNet Group, Inc.

In October 2012, the human resources outsourcing firm TriNet Group, Inc., told the San Francisco Business Times about its plans to “take the rest of the year off.” This announcement came following its purchase of Strategic Outsourcing Inc., its third acquisition of the year after AccordHR and ExpenseCloud. Furthermore, the deal practically doubled the size of TriNet Group.

The company has continued its string of successes in 2013. Using its TriNet SMBeat statistical analysis software, it revealed that its member clients produced new jobs at nearly eight times the national average during December 2012. In February, TriNet Group launched HRP Mobile, a mobile human resource management app for smartphones and tablets. This program allows users to check payroll data, planned time off, company directories, and other information.

Much of TriNet Group’s success comes from its Chief Executive Officer and President, Burton Goldfield. Joining the firm in 2008, Goldfield professes his personal interest in the goals of his clients, as well as in the achievements of his company. The recipient of a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Engineering from Syracuse University, he also holds a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. Before coming to TriNet Group, Burton Goldfield held executive positions at IBM Corporation, Hyperion Solutions Corporation, Rational Software and other firms.
