TriNet Launches Partner Program

Through TriNetConnect, TriNet’s insurance brokers and other strategic partners have access to training, support, and marketing services. The program also includes an expansive collection of educational resources on effective human resources solutions. In addition, TriNetConnect includes an incentive program to further encourage success. Partner firms can choose from three tiers of engagement, each offering a different level of commitment. Each successive tier grants firms larger rewards based on business performance and achieved goals.

The launch of TriNetConnect paved the way for the introduction of TriNet’s Partner Advisory Board (PAB). Consisting of 12 executives from several partner industries, the board provides a wealth of knowledge on the company’s suite of human resources solutions.

Criteria for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award

In 2013, for the second year in a row, Ernst & Young LLP named Burton Goldfield a finalist for the company’s Entrepreneur of the Year title for the northern California region.

For 27 years, Ernst & Young has sought the year’s best entrepreneur in nearly 150 American cities and more than 60 nations worldwide. Past winners include Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com and Sergey Brin and Larry Page of Google. To be considered for the award, nominees should be owners or managers of companies that have at least $5 million in revenue and are at least two years old. They should be primarily responsible for their firm’s recent performance. Successful entrepreneurs are not necessarily their company’s founders, but are their current leaders, and are judged by their success in bringing these enterprises to the next level. Several criteria exist for judging candidates, such as the company’s financial performance, its impact on both the local and the global community, innovation skills and overall entrepreneurial spirit, and personal integrity and influence.

The National Parks Conservation Association Preserves Our History

President and CEO of TriNet Group, Inc., Burton Goldfield has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles and is known for his innovation and ability to grow business. Outside of his professional life, Burton Goldfield is involved in the National Parks Conservation Association in the San Francisco Bay area as a member of its Pacific Region Advisory Council.

The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is an organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing national parks across the United States. For more than 90 years the NPCA has been educating decision makers and the public about the importance of conservation, convincing Congress to support park preservation legislation, and evaluating the health of parks and park management. Established in 1919 to be a voice for the parks outside of the political system, the NPCA today has over 800,000 members and 24 offices around the country.

In December 2013 the NPCA partnered with the Civil War Trust to preserve 3.89 acres of land at the gateway to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, land that had played a significant role in the Civil War battle of Harpers Ferry. With talk about using the land for a gas station or mini-mart, the purchase of the land, financed by federal funds and donations, came just in time. With 250,000 visitors each year, Harpers Ferry and the land surrounding it is rich in history and plays a part in the story of the Civil War and the battle for rights for all Americans.

Burton Goldfield Serves on CommNexus Board

Burton Goldfield, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TriNet Group, also serves on the board of directors for CommNexus. At CommNexus, Burton Goldfield works with other San Diego business leaders to promote the development of information technology (IT) firms in the region. In March, CommNexus will present “Migrating to the Cloud,” a panel discussion that features chief information officers from the IT, pharmaceutical, and energy industries.
