The former Vice President of Worldwide Sales for the Rational Software division of IBM Corporation, Burton Goldfield currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of TriNet Group, Inc. As its leader, Goldfield has contributed to its success even during the recent economic crisis. In charitable matters, Burton Goldfield supports SFJAZZ.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2013, SFJAZZ provides the San Francisco Bay Area with some of the nation’s best music. With a mission of jazz creation, education, and preservation, this group fosters an appreciation for the genre in listeners around the world. Considering the style a living art form, SFJAZZ produces more than 100 performances every year, and nearly half of the National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters have played for its audiences. Moreover, it teaches young musicians about the art form with programs such as Jazz in the Middle, SFJAZZ High School All-Stars, and Discover Jazz.
